Glen O'Malley, who grew up in Brisbane, lived briefly in North Queensland in the sixties, and, after subsequently establishing himself as a photographer in southern capitals, eventually returned and has now lived near Cairns for over 20 years. He exhibits on a regular basis and his more recent work is emphasising the surreal. Currently he is a lecturer in photography at James Cook University.
