Gerwyn Davies is an emerging photographic artist and costume maker from Brisbane. Gerwyn recently completed a Bachelor of Photography with a double major in Creative Advertising and Photographic Art Practice at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University where he is currently completing his Honours program and is a sessional member of the photography staff. Gerwyn’s work employs modes of craft to investigate masculinity and its commonplace representations and employs abstract costume design and construction in order to explore and experiment with identity and dress.
