David van Royen who has completed a Master's in Fine Art Photography RMIT has been exhibiting overseas and within Australia for over 10 years. Currently David resides in Melbourne teaching at RMIT & Box Hill. David's work has examined the role of masculinity within Australian photography. Mainly focusing on portraiture and metaphors which incorporate his own perspective on "being a man" within an ever changing Australian culture.
