Phoebe McDonald has a Bachelor of Photography with First Class Honours from Queensland College of Art, and was awarded the Artworkers Alliance award for graduating student. She has received grants from the Australia Council for the Arts and has been a finalist in the Churchie National Emerging Art Award, the Substation Contemporary Art Prize, the Clayton Utz LAUNCH award, the Wilson Art Award and the Toowoomba Biennial Emerging Artists Award.
