Joachim Froese

Joachim Froese was born in Montreal/Canada, grew up in Germany and migrated to Australia in 1991. He is an art photographer who currently divides his life between Berlin in Germany and Brisbane. In Brisbane he teaches as a sessional lecturer for photography at the Queensland College of Art.

Froese has exhibited widely in solo and group shows across Australia, Europe, Asia and North America. His work is included in a number of public collections including the National Gallery of Australia. In Brisbane Joachim Froese is represented through Jan Manton Art.
