Ray Cook is one of Australia’s most influential and significant photographic artists. His practice spans 20 years and is characterized by innovative experimentation with photographic tableaux and hand-toned prints. He is currently undertaking his PhD at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, where he is also lecturing. His major monograph Ray Cook – Diary of a Fortunate Man, published by QCP, launched in October 2007.
